Default Quick Toledo trip

Left Lafayette sunday night headed to the camp. Got out monday around 11am. Fishing the 1215 area on the main lake I caught around 20 bass with 5 that would have been keepers. The biggest was 3 lbs. Watermellon seed flukes, square bill crankbait gold rogue are the baits I caught on.
Yesterday the total was around 30. I started out just south of blue lake and caught a few fatties in isolated grass on a weightless fluke. I started at daylight and it was slow for me until after noon. Then i hit an area and had some fun. All on weightless flukes. Inside grass line and they wanted to pick it up off the bottom. I lost two nice ones. One i saw, and it looked to be 4-5 lb range. The other, I was in some shallow hay grass area with little bushes. When I set the hook, the fish made a wave like a grass carp!! I never saw the fish, but I couldn't turn it before it came unhooked. That one upset me!! A little sunburne and bruised ribcage = fun trip!!
Coming home this morning there was a stready stream of boats headed north on I 49.
