Event : 2nd Contraband Bayou Cleanup

Clean Bayou is organizing another cleanup of the Contraband Bayou on Saturday, May 5th out of Bowtie Marina beginning at 8AM. We’d like to invite the CCA members of Lake Charles and the surrounding areas to be a part of our effort. We need boats and volunteers to help us remove the trash from the banks of the bayou. Our first cleanup resulted in the removal over 200+ tires, and 7.2 tons of litter and debris. It was a huge success
You can drop off your boat or skiff at Bowtie the evening before, or show up the morning of the clean up and the staff will launch it for you. Your crew will be supplied w/trash bags, gloves, nets, water, etc and you will be assigned a specific area of the bank to clean.

Lunch will be provided as well as t-shirts and a gathering afterwards to celebrate our efforts. We appreciate CCA’s continued support.
