Default Sweetlake?

Anybody know anything bout sweet? That maybe one of my destinations tomorrow for jugging. My family is concerned bout the barge traffic on the intracoastol canal flipping us. I talked to one the sc members who goes on the intracoastol quite often. He said there's nothing to worry bout. Just respect em. They were concerned bout them sucking the water out from then flipping us when the water comes back. I don't want to be ignorant on doing this and get us in a bad situation. I'll have my wife and my 5 and 9 yr old with me. I want to catch fish but also be safe. They suggested Sweetlake because it should be safer. Just looking for suggestions and any info. Thanks in advance.

Just go to bayou misere. If you put in at Gary's, cut through streeters and take lac bayou down south, cross intracoastal, go like your going to pipeline canal, pass it up and hug right(west) bank of mud lake and you will see entrance to the bayou. Put your jugs in there then go fish in pipeline canal with big live crawfish on the bottom while lines are soaking

If it is windy tomorrow sweetlake may get rough, but if you go under the gibbstown bridge the north canal will be calm and it is a good place for catfish most of the time. It is the first canal to the north once you pass under the gibbstown probably 1.5 miles east of the bridge.
