Great question. I'll most likely get down for a couple says next week, so if y'all could run down and catch all that seaweed, I'll try to clean out the fish.

No update, but I'll be out there Sunday and Monday. We mainly just park our campervan on the beach and have a few cold ones, but I'll have a line in the water most of the time. I'll relay reports from others around me as average is a stretch for me sometimes. If the seaweed isn't terribly bad, I'd guess I'll be able to wrangle some little sharks and gaff tops. We shall see.

I'm gonna go out Saturday morning and try to catch some trout in the surf. Hope the sea weed isn't too bad.

Got skunked. Pounded gafftop lol. Everyone I spoke to had the same results. Had something very large break off. Fought like a red. Never got to see it. Had fun, caught about 10 gafftop over 22". Fished some marshes on the way back but it was hard finding a spot that wasn't filled with people or that I was able to pull over for. Maybe next time will be better luck.

Heck yeah. If I grab ten gaff tops, you can bet they'll hit the grease.

I can vouch for that. I'm here, and have gone from thoughts of hooking up with some nice reds, to tossing back a couple cold ones and listening to the waves. Not a bad backup plan. The seaweed here is horrendous. I'm going to try fishing in the morning. A guy said some younger fellas were snagging some decent trout early today, but I choose not to believe him. It's a seaweed festival.
