I've been trying to figure this out for years as I have extremely cold hands during the winter. I'm not brave enough to spend $100 on a pair of gloves incase they aren't warm enough, so what I do is buy a cheap pair of thin cotton gloves, and a pair of wool gloves. Put the cotton on first then the wool, and my hands stay extremely warm and still able to fish well with them. If I catch a fish, I just either use bogas or take the gloves off of one hand. Spend maybe $30 all together.

i just bought some neoprene stormr gloves on ebay. got them in a few days ago. seems like they will do the job while driving the boat. also bought some gloves that have the fingertips exposed on first 2 fingers. hopefully that will work while fishing
