What is the best rig up to catch them consistently? We catch one or two but never more than that.

If flounder are there, I like pearl gulp swimming mullet (3 or 4 inch) tipped with a piece of frozen shrimp. Work along the bottom with rod tip down bumping along the bottom. Hang on.

A little early for the big run but you might catch a couple. hit the drains further up the lake this early in the run. Good luck.

The predictions show the tide being low and flat hardly any movement for a few day would this be a good time to gig flounder if we don't get any more rain? Common since tells me yes ... But I've never gigged so any advice is appreciated

We need a good cold front to get the run started. They are just waiting.
