Default They Think 300 trout is a lot..lmao

Them Texans just dont know what trout fishing is.....They think this pic back when Salty was 75 years old...Is a lot of trout lmao

If I wanted to catch and release many of days......I could catch 300+ trout easy on Big Lake.....In Venice and Grand Isle they do this daily

What a bunch of YONKS

OVER 300 TROUT CAUGHT! - 2CoolFishing

Best Quotes from this Thread:

I have a cousin that is 73 years old and tells me stories like this all of the time... Unbelievable but true!

My dad tells me about stories like this as well from lighted piers when he was a kid fishing with his father.

Holy cow, on our last trip out I was tired after filleting 16 fish. I couln't imagine having to fillet 697

It's not hard to catch/kill 25 12" trout. Keep making that trip home. Our bays are already too crowded and there's no fish here anyways.

4 guys...75 fish each, was there a limit in those days? It's no wonder there is a decline in gamefish populations today. I realize it was a different time, and I'm no tree hugger, but 300 fish is over the top IMO.

LMAO this dude thinks these 4 guys whipped out the trout population..Poor guy....He dont even have a clue here!!! This is what you have fishing your lakes and driving boats...
