Default Whiskey Bay

made a run to Whiskey bay saturday, didn't catch a whole lot but we did manage to put a few in the boat, caught a couple small bass on a beetle spin, and a nice goggle eye on the same beetle spin, that goggle eye hit that thing like he was mad at it, caught a couple of small bream, the switched to catfish, caught couple just right for the frying pan, didn't catch a whole lot but it was good to be out on the water and away from work, talked to a few people out there everybody said purty much the same thing, "only caught a couple, should have been out here last weekend" one guy had a decent stringer of bass, he was beating the banks with an orange crank bait, and seen two other guys catch each a nice size choupique, one guy right next to the boat ramp broke his snoopy pole on that choupique, I thought about going to butte la rose until we saw the number of people at the boat ramp, boy it sure is funny how fast word spreads even when most people are so tight lipped
