Default BIG E moves to LA

The BIG E is moving to LA for a few months.

Not well received by many LA fisherman!

I went on a 60 hr trip a few years ago on this boat and had a blast. We actually saw some sportfishers with LA registrations on them while at the floaters. On another note, I sure see a lot of LA plates in our TX refinery parking lots lately. What does it really matter, we are all the same.

I used to go work in TX all the time so that the TX guys could come here and work. It's a system we have set up in order to get away from our wives!

It's O.K., we get all the Texas money at our casino's in Lake Charles and Bossier City.

We can call it even.

Im going to guess that you only know about 10% of that story? Do you know that part about how they were catching (out of Venice) and bringing to Venice, tens of thousands of pounds of amberjack while comercial fishing in Louisiana waters? If they want to rape the waters, let them stay in Florida! It was such a big deal that Venice Marina banned the boat from docking there! Doubt we see that boat this year!

As for the part of them taking us to school..... This is Venice Captains that we are talking about.........not really known for NOT catching fish!! Did he have some good trips? Hell yeah he did! Let me spend three days in the Green Canyon and I will give you a hell of a rack of fish too!! If you can compare his 3 day trips to the green canyon to one of our day trips, ok ! Go ahead!

If they catch more fish, that is no reason to jump them.

If they are illegal, call LDWF and let them deal with it.

If they are not illegal, go catch some fish. It's none of your business what they catch, if they are legal.

Hey Josh, Gray said to tell you hello!

I take nothing away from Jasons Fishing ability! He is a nice guy, I have seen him for years in Venice! AND he has done nothing illegal that I know of! It does leave a bad taste in your mouth when we can catch 1 amberjack a person but he can bring in tens of thousands of pounds to the dock! Most were caught right out of Venice, do you have any idea how long it will take to get that many fish back in that area! They may have almost completely cleaned out some rigs! Not illegal but not cool either! As for the sucker punch, that much is true but it would not have mattered much! He can fight that capt any day of the week and it would turn out the same! I dont think that it was right and do not agree with what went down! It was a lot leading up to that night, not just one thing!

If I went to Florida and dumped thousands of pounds of red snapper on the dock in front of local captains, im sure they would be cool with that too right??? I dont think so!
