Default Yaking I-10

My brother in law and i put in around I 10 bridge. Manage 11 reds.... 6 kept. Caught most on gulp swim mullet. BIL lost two on his stringer while paddling. Our biggest went a little over 27". Smallest was 19"...... I managed to hook up with 5 rat reds.

Oh yeah, I did catch an 18" drum... CPR and away he went. Soo much current it was hard to paddle in some spots... Tied up a rattltrap and trolled it behind us on our way back in. Picked up 2 like that.

tolling behind the yak, were you going against the current? Did you remove the front hook on the rattletrap to keep it from catching on the bottom?
