Take everything wt just said as gospel! I'm glad he chimed in on this. Sadly, he knows all about your current situation. Adding to that, he was a great mentor when I was dealing with my dad's heart attack. He could likely be of more help than most here, again, sadly, due to experience.

I know he did a lot to tone me down when I was in a tough spot with illness.

Salteredneck,

I will keep your family in my prayers well. PM if you are interested in taking the wife and kid to disney world for a few nights. We have a condo there with some availablity that you can use for free.

Accept the boat. No one believes in fiscal responsibilty more than me, however cherished items ( guns, baseball gloves, gun cabinets, etc.. ) are worth more memories than anything.

God bless and there really isn't a cut and dry answer. Do what you think is best.

Thank you for your words/story. I wish the best for you and your family.

A little update: i am going tomorrow to pick up my new Ocean Prowler 13 Angler. I spoke with my wife long and hard on the issue and she wouldnt budge. Thanks to everyone for the advice.... seems i had little say on the issue in that she would've gotten it behind my back regardless LOL. I am blessed and i love her dearly.

Well done. Hope you enjoy it. Will remember to still keep you both in my prayers. You should post a picture of it.
