The Feds this weekend will be handing out flyers and warnings. Next weekend on the otherhand the Feds are still waiting on guidance. Only safe catch will be within the 3mi boundary

I have been checked a few times by them. One day when I only had one redfish on board they did not believe me and they went through all my compartments, opened and looked inside my access hatch and even went inside one of my bean bags. When the foam pellets started flying out I told him that was enough BS. Point proven! My boat was banked in a spot all day while my people surveyed an island. I just casted from the boat when I got bored and one redfish, 23 inches, got stupid. That fish was in the drink cooler on ice and I showed them it right off.

That is when I told him he proved a point and it was enough of his B.S. That being said I know of a captain that got caught hiding them inside his bean bags. He did get a ticket.
