Look up the cl60x and mc500. They have boca bearings and carbon disc drag washers. They are sweet

Yep. I've watched that video 100 times probably. He has another video or two I believe. The cl60x is $89 and mc500 is $119 I believe. Well worth it though

I wonder if the only difference between the cl60 and the cl60x is the boca bearings and the carbon washers...

These have been getting pretty good reviews from some of the big cat forums.

That im not real sure. I know its boca bearings and drag washers for sure. but I think its just minor things like louder clicker. The cl60's were weak and quoet but it was an easy fix to get tjem loud. Cool video on that too. But the mc500/600 are a ground up build and design.

I know abu garcia has a program like $30 or something send your reel in they repair it you pay to ship back to you and brand new reel. I have 2 i need to send back a 6000 and 6500. The info should be on their website.

Not a very good idea to be casting in the yard like that....reelin' all that dirt 'n' grime back into the reel.
