Absolutly not! If they catch you, you will lose your 4wheeler. And if you brought it there in a truck and trailer, they will take that too.....they dont take that lightly!!!

WRONG! Once they open the south farm area ,YOU CAN ride 4 wheelers back the road to the crawfish ponds . You can tow a small trailer , you can ( i have seen this) ride a riding lawn mower to the ponds.
BUT ONLY AFTER ldwf opens the area to crawfishing. This is valid unless they have changed the rules from last year to this year??? |

season is supposed to open Apr 1st but last year it opened March 15th.
I guess they open it when the bugs re big enough for harvest?? |

Where is this place located? I remember as a kid setting out nets and catching crwafish, somewhere around Grand Chenier. I have no idea where we were though.
