Default Vermilion Bay

Had 3 great days of fishing this week. Monday and Tuesday were at Big Lake. On Monday I went with Ozzie (Not Ozborne), Tuesday was with Ozzie and E.Paul. Limited out both days. Today (Friday) went to Vermilion Bay with Ozzie (not Ozborne) again. With all the good reports that I've been getting decided to start in the cove but water was dirty so we moved to the Hammock but water was dirty there also. Decided to head out to the reefs. We found good water and moving tide. Caught 15 nice trout by 12:00 then I spotted some birds so we went over to check it out. It was on like Donkey Kong! Had our 50 trout limit by 12:40. Tagged ten more. Could have tagged more but I was out of tags. Caught and released several more using top water. Caught them on the E.Paul special, Tsunami Swim bait, Catch 2000 and she dog.

just got started in the tagging program. Wanted to tag in Vermilion Bay because that is where I fish mostly. Learned how to fish on Big Lake but moved to Lafayette and fish here now. Not hard to tag...more need to get involved even if you only tag a few every little bit helps
