just rerap them things, or you could take a mini prybar and get them apart one board at a time if your are realy careful. They rap a 2x4 or somthing like that cause it is cheaper then solid beam

Yep they use 2x4 blocks n wrap w 1x6 or 1x8 I'd either paint em or wrap em or take em down n sand on the ground just make sure u number the pieces n put in back up in order

Man my arms are about to fall off!!!!! Some spots have to be done by hand cause the sander won't fit. I couldn't take it apart by myself without damaging it so I'm sanding it up there.

With all the work it takes to sand the old wood.......
I would think taking the old wood off and replacing with new wood would be easier and you would be able to finish it exactly how she wants it to look. |
