I use to hit Old Tyme store up on Thursday evenings fairly often.........Turkey poboy's special.....I think it cost $ 2.50.
I remember going in one time during Lent on a friday. They were getting the shrimp ready and I asked how much did they have.......I think it was ~ 500 lbs. That is a lot of poboys. |

Go down Johnston from University and take a right on West St Mary, it will be on your right, you cant miss it. If you go during the summer drive real slow down Johnston and check out the short shorts walking to class...

I go to lafayette from time to time for the va to work on medical equipment at the clinic. I always go there for lunch. The oysters are awsome and the shrimp poboys are a very close second. I usually get the 1/2 and 1/2. I don't order the fries anymore because there just isn't enough room for it. Great place. I'll have to try the place in broussard. Thanks for the info dink.
