Default anybody use Stick It Anchors??

Curious if anyone has used the Stick It Anchor System around Big Lake and how they like it? Pros, Cons and if they hold a 24' bay boat.

I used it on my old Key West stealth and loved it before it decided to jump out of the boat and sink in west cove. Then went to the power pole and love it more. Now to save on boat weight I have another stick it and it does come in handy. Stick it with power pole=deadly combo!

I believe they cost $85 not sure but I would check the site. If at all possible tie a heavy duty float on it so it doesn't sink.

Back when I was a teenager me my cousin went flounder fishing by the port. Well we discovered we forgot my anchor so we decided to improvise by grabing a big rock and tying it off to the now rope. It worked perfect until we tried pulling it up. When it dropped off the drop off we were fishing the bow of the boat went down. Thank God it didn't go down to far or we would've sank.

The Stick-it pins are $64.99 for the 8' and $54.99 for the 7'. The lanyard set is $19.99 and the brake is $73.99. We have both sizes in both colors, lanyard sets and brakes in stock at The Tackle Box in Sulphur.

I got one and it's great in the marsh.. havn't used it in big lake yet, but i took it to toledo bend and it held a 21' skeeter in 20+ mph winds.. I was impressed!

I have the brake for shallow water fishing, and use a 25' rope when the brake isn't practical.
