I dont know if this link will work or whether this will stir the pot... but the curados are on sale at tacklewarehouse for 139.99. Get what you want outta this thread. Just thought i would post what i saw. I know the curados and who's selling them is a touchy subject around here *****!

I have done alot of shopping for specific rods that are typically hard to find around these parts... they get these shipped to you in a timely fashion. Didnt know about academy selling them for that price.

Buddy just left Academy in LC and he got 5 to put on ebay after the sale....I told him...they sell on ebay for 145...lmao...

He said Academy has sold over 100 this weekend

dont see how they can make the curado better and cheaper. usually when things cost less you get less. idk i guess we will have to wait and see. i just hope they dont stop making this model.

I got a Curado SF back from the speed shop yesterday. I can give the handle a swift spin, hit the casting button, and, with a full spool of 12 lb. Trilene, the spool will spin an average of 70-75 seconds. To put that in perspective...try it with a reel that has not been supertuned.
