There is a separate gauge at the Butte la Rose landing and Pontoon bridge. Most people are referring to Butte la Rose when looking at levels. Should be at least a week before a good fall starts happening. The Mississippi is falling up north so that's a good sign.

Heading to Lake Verrett This weekend. Will be a few weeks before my spots at Henderson are good.

Speaking of Henderson, are they still having trouble with the matted hydrilla at the I-10 landing? A few weeks ago your couldn't launch at either the between the bridge public launch or Kern's landing because they were both choked off.

Gonna be a terrible year for Lilly's with the mild winter we had. I hope the start spraying early and often. Anybody hearing if the crawfish are starting in the basin yet? This water dropping and warm weather should kick em on.

Just got back from the Landing and with all the south winds we have been having all week has moved what is left of the lillies to the north end of Kern's pit. The boat launch is clean and the boulevard is wide open. The cut on the north end by I-10 is O.K. but you have to deal with the lillies but some boats are going out that way. It should be a beautiful weekend
