Default Check your Shimano Chronarch 150 CI4

check for spool corrosion. This is my second set of spools

corrosion

the first set of spools where warrantied

i had to send these pics to shimano this morning waiting to hear from them

they know there is a problem with them.

There is a third spool supposedly. I gave up on that reel after two.

Seems most of the new Shimano's are crap! I stick with the pre 2010 models or order from Japantackle.com. I have found the japanese domestic models hold up a lot longer than whats being sold now at local store.

I fish a lot and my reels stay wet due to kayaking and wading, I've never had a spool do that
