Coincidence that Mr. Chad Courville was once a DU biologist???? And now, he's part of the commission? just sayin......

Pretty much all of the commissioners are members od DU and Delta.

And because DU was awarded it, $4million will go to help restore habitat in the breeding grounds. All the commissioners have their own agenda though, and they don't care what the public or biologists think, you are right about that.

Does anyone know what the proposals from each was? Maybe DU proposed to do more with that money, or was able to secure the match and Delta was not. Turning $1 million into $4 million does a hell of a lot more.

I personally would like to see the proposals. Not aware of anywhere that they are posted though.

Follow the link you posted and look at the proposals on ldwf webpage. When you look at the proposals Of DU, Delta, and United Prairie Foundation it wasn't even close on who should get the funding. It was unanimous The other organizations are great but they could not compete with DUs proposal.
