Big Lake Redfish Skinny??
I guess all this fresh H20 or cold winter hurt their food supply. Anyone else notice this? |

I agree with D, there's not much food for them. Some of the reds that I caught at the weirs were full of tiny little fish, 1/2" minnows. There are a good number of big mullet in the lake (big trout) but probably not many shrimp (smaller trout).

Won't be long. Flounder and shrimp should be moving in as soon as the water starts warming up.

The shrimping is not too good out in federal waters right now. They must be farther out.
I am waiting on a report when the shrimp get closer to the beaches. Then it will be on... |
