Default Anyone Yaking tomorrow???

Just found out i have the day off tomorrow due to the hospital trying to save money... was thinking about taking the yak out to prien in the morning. Anyone going??? My father borrowed my boat for a Toledo Bend weekend... soo my rig is outta the pic for a weekend. Probly launch under 210 and fish PPG cut.

Whats the weather/tide going to be like? I've never fished that area but I been dying to get the yak wet. I may be willing to ride over there if you know some areas to try.

tides not moving alot really... winds 7mph mostly soo it looks like we wont be fighting too much. I know prien pretty well.. been fishing it since i was 5. Still waiting on the go ahead from the wife but PM me if you are serious about going. Marsh Boy I am using my brothers Yak...

well I was interested but I just looked and the tide is basically not moving and I dont think I want to ride that far with that flat of a tide. thanks maybe we can catch up another time

Took the Yak out to Haymark and landed a 21inch red. catch and release. do not have pics due to not bringingmy cell phone on a yak. took me about 10 min to get em in boat. Chrome/blue back rattletrap.

Nice job on the red. Where do you launch to yak haymark? I've seen a guy in a yak there once before too and I don't know where to launch to get there without having to paddle a long ways. Isn't there a golf course or something in the way to launch from the east side?
