Default Columbia River report

Here are a few pics from our trip on the river today in oregon / Washington. We caught about 8 steelhead and 2 sturgeon. Biggest was about 5 foot. Couldn't get pics cuz the rain was coming down and I didn't want my phone to get ruined. We also lost a giant one right near the boat. It was probably 9 or 10' long. Looked like a great white shark..lol. Awesome trip with awesome scenery.

Nice chromers. That's what they call them around the great lakes, anyway. Definitely a fun time. You should try them in skinny water. I've caught them in Lake Erie and its tributaries. I think the fight better in the creeks. But they are always scrappers fun to catch in any waters.

The steelhead are excellent and I was told if you boil the sturgeon in 7up you can't tell the difference between it and lobster. Have tried it tho.
