We were in a major thunderstorm a few years ago during harvesting, my dad is loading cane into the wagons that I'm pulling next to him, the boom on the loader has to go up bout 30ft to put it in the carts, I tell him on the 2way, let's wait a few minutes....we did, can't imagine what coulda happened.....only thing in life that scares me is snakes and lightning.

I was building a 3 cord vent boom about 40' to the top. I seen the weather cmoing and told my helper lets get evertything picked up before we get caught in the rain. We had everything just about picked up and we were standing under the vent boom. Lighting hit that sum ***** while we were standing under it. It was the loudest brightest thing i've ever experienced. I was disoriented for a bit. I garuntee, if I would have though about my bunghole I would have crapped my britches but I didnt have time to think. It was very scary.

That'll make you ask the good Lord if you need to apologize for something. Wana make sure that wasn't a warning shot.
Lightening popped the roof of the building next to our shop. About 100' away or so. Yeah it's loud and scary as hell when it's that close. Lightening and needles. Don't want anything to do with them. Medical needles. Tattoo needles I'm cool with.
