Exclamation Wow, just Wow!

I'm currently @ work offshore. I am in 5800 ft. of water. 225 miles south west of Fouchon, 220 South East of Galveston. So I get off this morning & walk outside & I see a boat fishing next to the rig! Holy crap! I didn't see them catch anything but they are way out here in one hell of a nice boat! We can't fish off of the rig so they officially ruined my day!

Can you imagine being able to have enough money to fuel a boat like that

Did they have to go that far to find really blue water????

Last I heard the blue water line was 140 miles of the Louisiana coast? Is it still that far out?

I watched 2 girls catch some big yeller fin tuna this evening over on this side of the state. I am 60 miles or so South of the Mississippi River. We get boats from 25ft. to 75 ft.
