Hope you and your wife a speedy and un-eventful recovery. My wife and I have been through this also.

Surgery went well! She's in recovery now. Won't be long before I get to see her all looped out! May be a good time to get some confessions, huh?! LOL!

Thanks for everything guys! I appreciate all the kind thoughts and texts today!

She's doing good now....drugged but, good! Sucks I'm stuck in this damn hospital overnight! I don't sleep well at home these days, I sure won't sleep too great here! All good though.

Thanks again everybody! It is greatly appreciated!

That said, I was right about something...I didn't sleep like I was at a Holiday Inn last night for sure! Man, if there wasn't a machine beeping or vibrating, there was a nurse coming in. Gave up sleeping at about 4:30 this morning and came in and got all the collision paperwork sorted and filed.

Side note: God forbid a woman ever needs a hospital but, if you do, Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge is the one you want her at! The new facility is really nice and, the staff is the same awesome staff from the old location. We've been in the old facility for both of our kids to be born and now the new one for the wife's surgery and, they have always treated us very well. Communication with the staff is great, hospitality is second-to-none, they are very attentive and, always friendly.
