Default Hit and run

Someone hit my mail box this morning and hauled butt!! I know this is a long shot but if anyone on here has any idea who did this all I want is to be reimbursed for a new mail box. I understand accidents happen, no big deal. It happened on Rosedown ln. in Lafayette this morning (Feb 19th) around 8am. My neighbor saw the truck and said It was a tan/pewter extended cab Tacoma or Tundra. Please contact me by PM on here or email me at bjhooper@lusfiber.net Thanks for any info.

Yeah it did. Their truck has to be messed up pretty bad. Im just glad my pregnant wife wasn't backing out of our drive way at the time and the person hit her. Then I'd be very pissed.

I was thinking the same thing ... seems more like someone hooked up to it and pulled it .. just by the way it all looks

I don't know if there's a standard to the way you're supposed to build them but they normally don't break like that when being hit by a vehicle. I'm no expert and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

Someone defanantly hit it, 3 neighbors and my wife herd the impact and one of me neighbors saw the truck driving off and said it was sputtering pretty bad. One neighbor tried to chase him down and get his license plate number but by the time she got her keys and took off he was gone.
