We build valves for pipelines and offshore rigs and when they are not building pipelines our buisness is slow. With oil this low needless to say they are not building many pipelines. We just have to weather the storm. The oilfield has done a complete 180 since last year at this time.

Clients in Lafayette say that every month is worse than the last, layoffs and cut perks are what they see until TAX AND TRADE is decided. Why would a corporation spend 100's of millions of $'s when they do not know if it will ever pay off?? I believe thier other worry is Nationalization of the oilfields similar to what the Messiah's buddy Chavez implemented in Venizuala recently. Obammy will eventually reap what he has sown and hopefully it will mean an end to the Demoratik party in America once and for all.

Hopeinomics Regards

Raymond

I work for a oilfield consulting company. Right now, I have $500M in AFE'd projects on hold because the operators may need that money for Obama's plan. We are one company, holding $500M out of the economy which produces jobs when these projects have the green light, just think how many more are out there!

Obama is going to drive us to war - civil war!

The 80's are going to look great compared to what we will see if Tax & Trade pass! Been there and do not wish to revisit that terrible time in my life.

The Obama administration is not stopping all new drilling.
They are just not allowing drilling where there is oil and gas.

Last year at this time I was lucky to get a week off every month from work. Now I am lucky if I make 7 days working in a month.

he sleeps very well, especially when he knows that the majority of people in America believe that he will solve all their problems....and that all they have to do is go along with all his socialist ideas and everything will be just fine.

He is not worried because he will get a nice retirement check and Secret Service protection for the rest of his life.

It was noted today on Yahoo.com that his approval ratings are taking a beating. I think that people are starting to see the light. Sadly, it is too late for the next four years.

Default Obama

Why doesn't anyone on here call him what he is a Domestic terroist in the white house. This idiot of a president won't be happy until he ruins this country. I can't believe we are all still talking about this bafoon. Who and the hell voted for him anyway? I feel that in order to vote you should have a job and or held a job for atleast three years and have had to pay income taxes for those three years. In order to be on welfare you must have held a job for atleast a year and benefits should expire at the end of a three month period. We all need to stand up and take our country back and end the free ride thats been going on before its to late.

I don't know about ya'll but i am all about hope and change and i am waiting for it. If we don't get some change soon we won't have anything left in our pocket but change. I think everyone in the oilfield is banking on the cap and trade passing. The one thing we have on our side is the democarts in office in energy producing states have to think about getting re-elected after they back this lunacy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
