Question about Exspecks video.
The only time in my life that I ever trout fished was when I was around twelve with my uncle around Galveston somewhere so I don't remember much. You guys make this trout fishin look funner than bass fishin. I'll be on Big Lake as soon as my better half let's me buy a boat. I just watched Exspecks youtube video and was wondering if there was a reason they were wadefishing instead of fishing out of the boat? It seemed like the water was deep enough for the boat. Was it so they could get low to the water so they wouldn't spook the fish? Just curious.

Its quieter than drifting in the boat. Hull slap and all that. And like you mentioned your shadow won't spook the fish. I usually drift up to a spot I plan to fish making casts as we go. 1st bite, set the Stake Out Stik and hop out.

Bass fishing is fun, but once you start on the saltwater fishing, you're hooked(no pun intended)...The fight in these boys is like nothing else out there; it's an awesome high to pull one of those big guys in the boat...
