THE DRUM ARE BEATING-SWP - 2CoolFishing

my buddy caught this 78.9lb drum and weighed it on a 15lb boga.... real nice !!!!!

***????? proper venting? These folks are idiots!! Unless the water drops off to 200 ft under that fishing pier????? Maybe that pier is 40 miles out into the gulf?? Venting........hahababaha

I did'nt read everything but did see the part about venting, I thought it rather strange because it is not very deep where he is talking.

Most of the time when they die its because you've worn them out right? At least thats the case in holly beach area...

I dont see why people are fishing out that far right now anyways, maybe a few bulls being caught but the big uglies is all you gonna catch right now mainly.
Also dont see why people fish like that, Ill admit I go to the beach once a year when the reds are running to play with them on light tackle but once is good enough. Ill stick to my slot reds and sow trout in the marshes.

Man i had some good times in G-TOWN. Used to wade that bank right b4 seawolf park during the winter flounder run chunking live mullies! We'd get back and stuff them jokers, pound the brews, grub down...n watch the stars sitting n the hottub.
