Default Legal to shoot bow @ Cajun Field?

I'm sure shooting a bow counts as a projectile, and discharging projectiles in public property is no doubt against the law, but if I'm releasing a good ways from the street pointing in towards the field (still gives a good 200-300 yds of open space), would Lafayette PD gripe?

Obviously only if there are no people on the fields at all.

Only if you wear the customary "Indian" head dress and wear some leather.
