They say the one shot that entered his left temple went around the edge of the skull and not through the brain.

Doctors said if you have to get shot in the head, this is the way.

Said he was responsive and could move all extremities upon command and could feel.

They removed part of skull due to the swelling of the brain from the wound.

Prayers for the officer. Read where he is married with one child. A young man in his 20's.

Update: he is stable, and will be sedated for the next 72 hours. His brain scans showed no damage.
If you don't believe in a GOD I suggest you start because this miracle was worked with his hands. Simply amazing
From being shot in the temple, jaw, shoulder, and twice in the arm & he's doing so well is just an absolute blessing

News tonight said the LDWF officer was making a traffic stop when this happened.

Woman and man arrested in connection with the shooting. Looks like she did the shooting and he helped her afterward.

I really respect these guys for the work they do! You couldn't pay me enough to be in law enforcement these days! Way too many crazy SOB's out there! Hope he makes a speedy recovery!

what was he stopping a vehicle for? Was it for a suspected wildlife crime? If so which crime?
