Default tuna fishing venice louisiana

its about that time to go after them big yellowfin and big wahoo. if your thinking about planning a trip i highly recommend Captain Woody Woods. Went out a few weeks back and did very well on yellowfin, we pulled for wahoo for maybe 30 minutes with nothing being marked so we just decided to go after tuna and it was worth it. we boated 5 lost a few on hook ups tagged one and caught and released countless black fin.

heading out again saturday and sunday, possible even friday see how the weather is, but the fishing is good and the tuna and wahoo are big and in close! so come get on the action!

if you have any questions you can message me on here or you can contact captain woody via email captainwoodywoods@yahoo.com

Nice trip! You gotta dedicate some time if you wanna get into the wahoo usually, but when you hit the right rig it can get crazy... Nothing like triple hookups to get your blood flowing.

if your ready the time is NOW big fish being caught. we haven't had any bookings in a couple weeks but now that hunting season is completely over they should start coming in. we are catching solid 100+ pound fish when we get out there. Captain woody's boat is a freeman which allows us to fish a lot of days most people cant, its unbelievable the ride. Wahoo just showed up in the past few weeks. we have a trips Saturday and sunday so ill post a detailed report then. if you have any questions PM me on here so I get it quicker I don't check my threads enough, ill try and get better about checking it though. if your looking at going catch big fish, like I said need to go now its getting real good and will only continue to get better.

As he said the wahoo are just getting hungry. There will be a lot of boats out Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately Friday looks uncomfortable even for the Freeman boats. May change by then but doubtful.
