Stuttgart Arkansas 2009-2010
We decided to get a guide for a couple days and he still scratched....i almost didnt wanna give him a tip cause where i come from if we dont put you on fish you get your money back...but oh well....basically he said its the worst year he's seen in his 38 years of living....due to water....aout of all the hunters at our hotel there might of been 6 birds killed all week... It kinda sucks but its kinda cool...we had a blast and got drunk and didnt even hunt for the last day...alot of bud light and jack daniels was consumed on this trip....got some really good pics of us in the timber and ill post up as soon as i get them from my buddy.... On a different note i fished hopedale yesterday morning....i wasnt goin to i was just goin down to pick up some stuff from the boat shed but i said hell wit it might as well try...well me and a buddy from the marina eneded up making a evening trip and he knew where the flounder where so we ended up catching 22 floundder and about 6 or 7 big trout before dark....i was ready to get home to my salt water the whole time i was up there and wasnt shooting....im fishing this evening again i believe and hunting friday saturday and sunday...then im hanging up the gun and waders...and start getting ready for the spring trout bash....

Sorry you didnt kill.... but just like you said the trip itself is enough some times... to me its all about being in the outdoors and if i catch or kill thats just an added bonus...glad somebody is catching fish though been a while since i heard of that

bay slayer....during the summer and warmer months (not duck season)....i fish everyday if possible and if im not working...during winter i fish maybe once a week or so cause of ducks and my hands get way to cold with the water.....im goin tomorrow also...instead of this evening its too rainy...

yesssirr thats right big dud....i mean dont get me wrong we saw ducks and more geese than jiggs....but they were so spread out and whereever they wanted to be...
Capt. D 11 mallards is better than wat we did..but that is far worse than what stuttgart normally produces....its ok though ill be back next year...it's all about having a good time...
