You guys will appreciate
my dad fixed this pot in 1972!! an Uncle of mine got tanked up on wine and dropped it out the truck heading down Walker South Road.
I remeber holding the torch to heat the pot as dad brazed it..... This was yesterday! Still cooking in it IMG_2019.jpg IMG_2020.jpg |

It is not ours......belongs to my first cousin now.......I haven't seen it in decades and yesterday he had his first customer appreciation lunch and invited us over....
I have told guys this story and you could see thier bull**** meter going off LOL...... we figured the pot was around 90 years old |

Thats awesome! there is cast iron pots that my mom has that my great grandmother cooked with and there at least 100 years old.

That's one Hell of a repair. My stomach would have been in my throat if I broke a pot like that!
