Brew first BL trip

New to this site, have enjoyed reading all the post and learning alot about the lake and the entertaining banter between you guys!!! My lady and I are heading that way on 8/27/11 to fish with tripple J charters and are pumped! Hope to get to run into a few of yall at the bar at Heberts. Be great to put a face to a name or two. Plan to stay a few days after out charter and fish in my boat, any suggestions on where to head that ime of the year? Thanks

We are thinking about doing that, sounds like yall are going to have a blast! Do you know Josh with tripple J charters? He came recomended by a friend, sounds like a good guy on the phone. Not looking to grab trophy trout, just want to relax and put a few keeps in the boat.

Thanks Meaux, glad to hear that, been wanting to fish BL for awhile, but always helps to go with a guide that is fun and can show us a few things about the lake.

Thanks for the great news guys. we gonna do everything we can to come drink a few with yall this weekend. How far of a boat ride is it from heberts to the southern part of the lake, like the old jetties?
