Default 11-8-11 Late Report

Took my buddy out to white oak for a little bass action. Bite was slow for the bass... manage 6 bass (no pics). All were dinks. Did however come across a school of hybrids. Action was fast and them things slam harder than redfish. We caught on White spinner baits and pearl/chart zell pops. It was awesome to see these fish slam topwater. Afterwards I took to my cousins pond by the house and managed a few bass. Caught one on topwater spook. That was fun. Sorry for the late report.

The hybrids were schooling in about 20ft of water. Was hard to keep up with the schools. The whole river was lit up with shad jumping outta the water. Awesome sight. Could've mopped up but my buddy had to head out early.

I did not come across any hydrids schooling. I did find some bass schooling near the fingers. Think that is what the old guy called it. He said the bass was schooling on Bayou Serpent also at noon.
