Default Yesterday Afternoon

Dad made a hunt yesterday afternoon and this fella laid down and ate all his corn about 20 yards from him. They are really starting to become a nuisance for us in central LA.

That's awesome. I have never seen one in the wild before in LA. Guys I know that have bears in their areas feed soybeans instead of corn. Said the bears don't mess with the soybeans. My dad left his dozer on my cousin's property overnight 2-3 years ago around Livonia and went back to get it the next morning. A bear had eaten the seat off of it. They are very curious and will knaw on anything. Gamewarden told my dad they will be having special hunting seasons for them very soon.

Not good to eat at all. In Alberta, they are considered predators.

dont think I could ever bring myself to shoot a bear. Personal preference, I guess, so no judgement to those of you who hunt them. Carry on...
