Default BL 12-31 Slow and Foggy

Been having a terrible season in the goose blind so I decided to take a break from it and hit the water with a buddy. Wow! I have never seen the fog the way it was today, 50 yards visibility until noon! We basically left cal pt. and went to what we thought was the general area of turners and started fishing. With no gps, going anywhere else was out of the question. We stayed in turners til noon and we managed a few fish. Highlight of the trip was my buddy caught his first salt water fish which also happened to be his first speckled trout. Funny how he complained all morning when I was catchin fish in his face, but once he hooked up his whole attitude changed! Fog lifted and we went home with 8 specs and a bonus flounder all caught on ttf mrs. trout killer. Nothing with size, all dinks with a few throw backs. Still beter than scratching in a goose blind.

We were out there too and as mentioned is was as foggy as it could possibly be, right? Well some guy in a little aluminum monarch left the landing before sunrise with no lights!! Then the s.o.b. nearly ran into us twice! I was running in a straight line and he nearly swiped me. The first time I hauled *** passed him and the second time I had to let the throttle off and turn not to hit the dummy
