From the RNR weight chart...... it says a 30" trout would be just over 10 lbs.

i caught one that was 29.5 " weighed just under 7# caught another that was 27" and went over 7 when i was picking it up from the taxidermist ( throat hooked) i guy had one that he was dropping off caught out of southwest pass vermillion bay and it was 27" and weighed ................. freakin 9.2. Seriously

the dusty one on the wall is 27" and 7#s and the other pic from back in the day 29" and 6.8#s. wish i had a pic of that 9.2 # 27"
