Default pretty girls

Found these two beauties in the wifes herb garden. The largerer one is having grasshopper for dinner. They are a bit shy about being petted.

I use to love throwing insects into their webs and watching them attack.

The Swampy woods of south Louisiana are full of those "banana" spiders in Aug. and Sept.

Over the years I have walk into many of those webs and had them crawling on me..... but never knew they had a really bad "bite".

I have hit them riding my four wheeler. I know they aren't venomous but there is something freaky about knowing it's on you but you don't know where.lol
