Don's is easier to get into and a whole lot cleaner IMO. Make sure you get some stuffed bread, chicken sausage, stuffed chickens, couple boxes of boudin, ect. Both Don's and Best Stop are endorsed by the American Cardiologist Association as Heart Healthy businesses.

I did not see any directions posted.......Get off at the Scott, LA exit ....Hwy 93. [this is just a few miles west of Lafayette, LA.] Go south about 200 yards and turn left onto the frontage road. Go about 1/4 mile. Don's store faces I-10.

Best Stop store........is at this same exit, just go north ~ 2 miles.

Finally got to Lafayette went by Petes for a burger headed down to Broussard to visit daugter, the next morning off on a meat trip. 1st stop NuNu's picked up some rubs, seasoning, spray on cajun and garlic baste (good stuff).
2nd stop Chops in Broussard 3rd stop Heberts in Maurice 4th stop Best Stop in Scott then down the road to Dons. Got a bit of nearly everything in each shop. Made sure and got cracklins at Best Stop, did not realize how far a pound of cracklins will go! Dinner that night at Poor Boy's Riverside Inn.

Thanks for all the recommendations if any of you are coming to the Pensacola area and have any questions just let me know.
