Default A few cats

Caught 4 and lost one today in Lake Arthur. Caught them on jugs with cut bait. What is the best time of year to catch catfish in Lake Arthur on jugs and trout lines?? I had a blast but would love to have caught more.

Got an old man where I live that has trout lines running across the Cal. River, he ties off on one bank and runs across the river and lets his line down deep enuff for all the boats to clear it and is catching a couple hundred pounds a day right now.... not sure how this would work on intercostal but worth a try.
