Default Big Lake 11-07

Made a pretty easy go of a 3 man trout limit today in the lake. Reds were all over the place but we only kept a few. We were throwing calcasieu krytponite and glow jerks, but I don't know if the color really mattered. The tide was WAY OUT which made it interesting in certain areas - be careful launching at Ellenders.

Also, beware of the Somali Pirates in Turners - they will dang near board your boat!! We caught some fish there early but got outta there ASAP once the pirate fleet showed up which turned out to be smart move

Yes it does get thick at Turners; almost worse than the WERIS.

I sure hope the boat is hooked up to the trailer at your house otherwise it would be a pain in the a$$ to get it back on there... I know what you meant, hope you get better

I missed a few outtings in the middle of last month due to bad sore throat and coughing.

Still not 100% but trying not to let is slow me down.

I woke up at 3 am this morning, nose stopped up, funk dripping down the back of my throat, head ache that would kill an alligator.
I thought about heading out this afternoon, but still feel like crap.

I am on week #2. Should have never gone fishing but I have Yellow Mouth Fever right now. Paid the price and missed a day of work today as I had a relapse. Still think it was worth it

I drink a bottle of Nyquil before bed. That's all I need. If'n I get a good nights sleep, I can take the headache and sinus issues during the day.
