Hunted that place when it was does only, probably the best fishing in Louisiana also. They have created a paradise on the island but for the cost you can kill bigger deer in Illinois,Mo,or Kansas.

ive never been. but being so close it seems like it would be a good deal. been to missouri once and illinois x2, its expensive to go up there as well. plus u drive 10-12 hrs and come home emptyhanded sucks. id rather drive 2hrs and come home with nothing. seems like giles has good kill % though.
