Default Deer blind

needed a new deer blind and a guy at work told me about some stands he saw on the side of the rode on hwy 90 in sulphur. Went and checked them out and they were pretty nice. Called the guy and he sold me a 4 x 4 blind for 250. I checked on the internet and nobody could come close to that price. I put in my order and he had it done in two days. It is made with osb and he had some made with plywood for 350. He said he would also make any size you wanted. I'm not affiliated with this guy just wanted to pass on the info because for that price you can't beat it. His name is Mr Carrier i don't know his first name he is retired older man who does it for extra money although at those prices he isn't making alot. His number is 337-563-9189.

Not with a GOOD thick coat of paint, have had some up going on 6 years now, when it does I'll change it out, OSB & a gallon of flat paint is cheap.

I know of some that are 10 years old but they have a wide piece of tin on the roof and were painted once with a GOOD coat of oil base.

I never believed they would have lasted that long. I even commented about that when I helped him build them lol...

But they did have a piece of treated 3/4 inch plywood for the floor.

i have one out of osb that I put in the woods 8 years ago. I had 2 coats of exterior paint on it. 2 years ago I put another coat since I had to move it and it is still looks good. Some of the outside peeled a little but just in a few place and not enough to matter.

I built a playhouse for my daughter 22 years ago. Put good exterior paint on it. It is starting to show some signs of wear.
