Default What Do Y'all Think

I have a question for everyone fishing the tourney.
By a vote ,Yes or No,
What would y'all say to donating ALL entry fees to the Childrens Brain Tumor Research Foundation.
Winners would still get nice prizes and BRAGGING RIGHTS. (which on this site means more than GOLD).
I was told that if the majority says yes that we could do this.
I'm not trying to start trouble or to make anyone mad but this is supposed to be a charity tourney so lets give the cash to the charity.

Please cast your vote
If for any reason you don't want your vote public please pm it to the powers that be.
Or, would it be better to do in poll form???
If a poll is the way to go could someone in athority please make it so .
Thanks . Bob

I'm not fishing, but if I was, I would not have a problem with the proceeds going to charity. Charity is charity. Prizes should be rods, reels, lures, etc. It's for a good cause, so let the money go to it. My .02.

I'm not fishing to win so don't matter to me I just want to have good time and support good cause so I guess yes..... But I also think we should do whatever makes the most for the charity by the best turnout

i have givin this some thought . i would say givee all the money to charity, but this tourney was originally set up as a 50/50 split so with it being advertised as that i could see some gettin upset over no prize pot . i think we should keep it thesame as it was but encourage money winners to donate the cash to the kids brain tumor research fund. idk just saying if something was advertised as 1 thing then changed at the last min. that could rub people the wrong way . regardless it i win money i will donate it to shads fund

How about a donation box at the entry or weigh in table. Maybe auction some of the items that will be donated by sponcers.

Those are great ideas. At the Together for Tipper fundraiser that I was a part of, we put jars out for "Tips for Tipper". That picked up alot of extra moneyjust by people putting a couple dollars here and there. Also, an auction is the best way to raise money and you can raise a helluva alot!
