Default Lake Martin ?

What're most people after on lake martin? Anybody catch anything in the ditch on the back side or the canal on the way back?
Is it legal to frog out there during the season?
or are locals pretty territorial out there?

Thanks.

Majority of the crowd there fish for bass. Although, you'll have a good mix of sacalait and bream fishers as well. The lake stays super crowded for its size between the tour boats, people in kayaks and the ones who are just fishing. Not sure about your frogging question. If you're referring to the canal across the road that wraps the lake, haven't seen anyone fish it before. Locals aren't to bad except when trying to fish the duck blinds for sacalait if they're catching.
